Gardening Adventures!

So I just found out that I am my Daddy's daughter :) I went to Home Depot (our new home away from home) yesterday and picked out a few different things to plant. We got tomatoes and cucumbers and peppers and some different herbs. Anyways, in our backyard there are a ton of wine barrels with plants in them (ugly plants that needed to be removed) so I went out there and dug them up (had some help from Aaron... there were spiders!) and then I had to dig up all the stuff that was inside and to my surprise there were huge blocks of cement in there. I don't know why but I got those out and made lovely little homes for my new babies :)

This is a picture of some of the barrels. You can see all the stuff I had to get out on the right in the little garbage can.

Then I put the fertilizer in :)

Then I put this little thing in so they could grow up into it with out falling over.

These are Aaron's bell peppers he picked out. I hope 1 barrel is big enough for the 2!

I still have a few more things to plant. I am getting 2 separate barrels ready for zucchini. I've seen how big those can get so I decided they need their own homes :)Happy farming everyone!
